HCLSoftware Releases HCL Domino 12.0.2

HCLSoftware announced today the HCL Domino 12.0.2 release which delivers the richest application development platform available, enabling users to run their business more efficiently and securely. The latest release, code-named "Danube," includes the ability to modernize existing apps rapidly, strengthen email security, and deliver other significant enhancements for security, collaboration, and simplified deployment.

HCL Domino 12.0.2 delivers these capabilities and more:
- Create better looking apps - Restyle existing apps with a more modern look and user interface - in just minutes.
- Expand app dev toolset - New REST APIs extend Domino app dev toolset for professional developers, without sacrificing ease of deployment or security (coming November 30 for eligible customers).
- Save time and eliminate overbooked meetings - Easily view meeting availability for colleagues, even if they are using Domino, Exchange, or O365-based calendars.
- Maintain a virus-free environment - Reduce endpoint threats by connecting your Domino server to a chosen virus scanning service using ICAP protocol.
- Simplify your deployment - Create a new Domino server with a single command that loads certificates, registers users and completes the installation in minutes.
- Reduce support costs - Eliminate client upgrades by using Nomad Web clientless Notes, accessed on the browser of your choice.
Additionally, HCLSoftware recently partnered with Intravision for their OnTime Group Calendar for Domino. As a companion to HCL Notes Desktop and HCL Verse email client, it helps save time by finding available times to meet and can poll for available times across multiple organizations or businesses. In conjunction with the latest HCL Domino release, new versions of HCL Nomad Web 1.0.5, HCL Domino Leap 1.1 and HCL Sametime Premium 12.0.1 are also available.
