HCL AppScan 360º Provides Fast, Accurate Application Security Testing that is Now Deployable Anywhere

HCLSoftware, a global leader in enterprise software solutions, announced today the launch of HCL AppScan 360º, a new, unified application security software platform built with cloud-native architecture. An extension of HCL AppScan, HCLSoftware’s industry-leading application security portfolio, HCL AppScan 360º provides users a broader range of security deployment options to their organizations, along with the fast, accurate, agile application security testing that they have come to expect.

HCL AppScan 360º fills a void in the application security market, picking up where HCL AppScan on Cloud (ASoC) leaves off. The ASoC SaaS product continues to provide customers with comprehensive application security testing on the cloud but there is a large segment worldwide that needs a broader range of deployment options and consumption models such as on-prem, self-hosted, MSP-hosted, sovereign cloud, and cloud-native. HCL AppScan 360º shares the same modern, centralized platform as ASoC, including centralized dashboards that provide an unparalleled view of risk posture, and provides organizations with the same comprehensive and continuous security regardless of the specific needs of their business.

HCL AppScan 360º features include:

• Built on modern cloud-native architecture.
• A comprehensive set of integrated testing solutions including static, dynamic, interactive, open source, container scanning, API testing and more.
• Customizable dashboards, policies, and postures.
• Multiple deployment options including on-prem, self-managed, cloud native, sovereign cloud, MSP, and Federal Support.
• Multiple consumption options including per application, per contributing user, and per concurrency.
• Phased-release beginning Q2 2023.
