Introduction
myBiros is a startup that offers many capabilities related to automated document processing, including information extraction, document classification, and optical character recognition (OCR).
Input documents can be structured, semi-structured, or unstructured, and can be of different types. For example:
- Identity card
- Driver’s license
- Health insurance card
- Passport
- Receipt
- Bill
- Paycheck
- Vehicle registration document
- Expense record
Everything can be processed irrespective of format or image quality.
Many file types are supported:
- image/png
- image/jpg
- image/jpeg
- image/tiff
- image/tif
- application/pdf
PDF documents can contain up to 10 pages, where each page is a distinct input document.
The myBiros plug-in allows users to process any of the document types listed above (in any of the file types listed) and then provides relevant information retrieved from the myBiros evaluation as output. This plug-in is available for download on Automation Hub to enhance your Workload Automation environment.
After downloading the plug-in, log in to the Dynamic Workload Console and go to Workload Designer. Create a new job and select “MyBiros” in the Other section.

The Connection Tab
In the Connection tab you must enter all information required for carrying out a test connection, which is usually advisable:
- myBiros API Key: API key which you can retrieve from your myBiros profile
- Endpoint: The myBiros endpoint for which the plug-in will perform the request, and which will return the results of the evaluation
There is also one optional field:
- Username: This is linked to the myBiros API Key field so that, if necessary, you can create a User object inside your environment, choosing as password the myBiros API Key. You can then insert the name of the newly created User in the username field and choose the User option for the myBiros API Key field.

The Action Tab
In the Action tab you must enter all information required to submit the job:
- File path: The path of the file to be processed
The File path field is also mandatory for performing a test connection. It can also be used either to retrieve the correct file path directly from the file system using the Search button, or to retrieve a list of files from which to choose.
There are also two optional fields, Local user and Local password, which can be used to specify another user and the corresponding password. This local user is distinct from the agent, who has access to the file and can be manipulated by the plug-in with that specified user.

Job Log
The plug-in will provide information gathered from the myBiros evaluation on the job log. To distinguish between pages of the input document, a progressive integer ID will be used as suffix for each property belonging to the same page of the document.

Output Properties
The same logic applied on the job log is also applied for output properties of the job.
