Aruba ClearPass for HCL BigFix

Overview

Aruba ClearPass provides role and device-based network access control for IoT, BYOD, corporate devices, as well as employees, contractors and guests across any multivendor wired, wireless, and VPN infrastructure. By integrating with HCL BigFix, you can quickly and easily identify and discover a wealth of near real-time information about endpoints to drive policies to control network access, while also ensuring devices are patched, kept up to date, and continuously monitored to enforce endpoint compliance. 

Unpatched systems are a big threat to organizations as hackers frequently look for ways to find and leverage known vulnerabilities. HCL BigFix aims to keep the endpoints secure by ensuring they are patched and compliant. With a rich set of device attributes gathered by HCL BigFix, ClearPass Policy Manager can make more informed decisions. Unpatched or non-compliant systems can be sent to a quarantine zone to ensure they do not have access to valuable network assets, while still enabling such systems to be brought into compliance using HCL BigFix.
